I can not seem to search on a User Property Key in searches or filters. Is this functionality available for Jira Service Desk Cloud?
I am not an expert, but my understanding is the property key is a way to set a property for various flavors of a condition. So for example, we have multiple customers with the same flavor of issue. We want to tag them as condition A so when we create a filter we only have to clarify the type, not each customer with that type individually. But since it is not possible, or easy to seach on it, it is not panning out the way I had anticipated.

It appears you would not be able to do it directly, but a work-around was suggested

Ah, ok. yes. you cannot perform a JQL on those properties as they are not fields associated w/ issues. JQL works on issues. But as noted by Nic in the above thread you can copy a property into a field if that is desired.
