Using Forms rest API - Get forms simplified answers

Hi,

I try to get the answers received on FORMs. We use multiple different forms and I try to find a universal solution to access the answer in automation.

I tried Forms rest API - "Get forms simplified answers" and works great.

However the returned JSON has the answers in a random order.

So FORM looks like this:

- Label 1
- Label 2
- Label 3

And the returned JSON is:

- Label 2
- Label 1
- Label 3

Is the expected operation? Do I miss something?

Can you link official docs to REST APIs you're using and which are related to forms?

I've never experienced this but, again, I didn't play that much with Forms and APIs so can't say for sure.

It might be best to try to reach out to Atlassian Support and see if they can help out with this.
(if you do so, please share some conclusions/resolutions if you find any)

I did check the topic with Atlassian Support. It is confirmed and defined as a "feature gap".

Atlassian Support created a Feature request: [JSDCLOUD-16367] Improvement in JSM Forms Automation Smart Values - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
