Hello,
When I change an assignee on a issue, I would like to automate the sending of an email to the former assignee notifying him that the issue has been re-assigned.
Hi @Loic , I came across your post looking to do the same thing and just found this knowledge base article - https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/send-notification-to-previous-assignee-when-assignee-changes-on-a-jira-issue/
I hope you found a workaround but in case you haven't, I just wanted to share this.
Cheers
The name of the condition has changed from 'Advanced Compare Condition' to '{{smart values}} condition' by the way.

thanks... But if I change the assignee, how can I do a automation rule if the former assignee is not assigned to the issue anymore? Is there a rule that can identify the former assignee? Or I need to do a loop in the workflow in order to trigger an email before changing the assignee?
