Workflows have different configuration fields

I am trying to delve deeper into workflows. My current goal is to create a workflow that allows customer change status on their raised requests at certain points. I started simple and created new workflow from the scratch. Suddenly I have encountered work blocking problem. I am unable to configure if it is possible to show transition in the customer portal.

I checked a flow where such configuration is an option and tried to figure out what causes this difference. At first I thought it is caused by missing properties. I spent few hours reading documentation learning nothing useful (and still having no clue what properties are) and ending in documentation loop.

So I added remaining options and yet there is still no possibility to configure show transition in the customer portal

I must have missed some devilish detail :(

Hi @Dominik Březina , a simple inquiry to start with - is this workflow associated to a project? If the workflow is inactive you will not see that option I believe.

It is Inactive workflow. Hah! This killed me :D Is this also the sole reason why Jira keeps claiming I can´t edit transitions on active workflows?

I am speachless.

yes. There are limitations on what you can edit on an active workflow. So if you ever run into an issue about not being able to edit the active workflow you simply make a copy, edit it, and then replace the current workflow with the new Version.
