Hi im looking to roll out the use of worklogs within a project, is it possible to also download the comments attached to a tickets worklog

If you export your issues using "All fields csv" you will get the worklog description as well. :)

so when you pull down the worklog export into excel ive set it up to categories by issue type. I have hope for each worklog entry it would also include comments entered into the worklog

@Alex Koxaras  Is there no way to get this worklog detail with out selecting ALL fields. I want to be able to run a query, and select certain columns from the list, along with the worklog details, but do not want to sift through all the extra fields. I see this isn't an option to select as a seprate column? Is there another way to get this information using JQL maybe?

With Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Free or PRO, you can view and download Worklogs with the Worklog description.

To download the Worklogs, you can select the fields you would like  to see on the excel (including custom fields)  and the comment:

The comment field carries the Worklog description as shown:
