Hello,
I have a project with all test cases written down in folders in sub folder in Test Repository. Now project is complete so I am moving my test cases to another project. Is it possible to move folder by folder such that my new project keep the same folder structure with test cases in them?
I have done something similar to another project but had to then manually select my test cases and move them to my required folder. Just trying to find if there is an easier way to do this?
Thanks,
Anshika
Hi @Anshika
XRAY provides 2 types of structure for the test cases:
While the test repository groups tests within a project in a hierarchical folder, test sets are a more dynamic way of grouping your tests, as tests can be added from other projects, allowing test cases to be added to different test sets
Please see below documentation:

Thanks Eugenio, I appreciate that I can use Test Sets instead of Repository.
As I am closing old projects that's why there is a need to move my opened test cases to another projects. I have now created a testing repository project such that different project test cases will be in this single one and I will create Test Plan and Test execution in the working project then. As current project, I already had Repository/folder structure that I want to continue with but when I bulk move them there is no option to select.
I checked if I create same folder in the new project will that work or not and it didn't.
I appreciate your help, I guess I have to manually move them to respective folders as there is no bulk update option.
Thanks,
Anshika
