Would it be possible, with Jira, to disable client access at the end of their contract so that they can only view tickets already created, without being able to comment on them, edit them, or perform any other actions (read-only mode)? Is this type of restriction feasible?

To my knowledge, something like this isn't possible at the moment. Maybe with some workarounds but I've never done something like that.
There are open suggestions related to your request so you might want to check those out (and potentially vote and leave comments regarding your requirement): project=JSDCLOUD AND type=Suggestion AND statusCategory!=Done and text ~ "customer view only"
