Hi,
Since few days ago, I'm having some issues with a specific automation. There're no errors when checking the audit log. I've tried few things and I came up that the problem comes when using a custom field in the automation. If I use a jira defined field, it works but when using an "ID" custom field, it doesn't recognize it and it fails. The thing is that i didnt change the custom field name so I really dont know what to do to fix it. I've seen the request type layout has changed, dont know if it has something to do.
The automation is basically to update the "summary" with the ID custom field information.
Thank you
Alejandra
Hi @Alejandra González ,
Are you able to share a screenshot of the log and the "error message" from the automation rule log?
There's no error message but I know its not working as the field is not being updated.

I understand, you need to check if your conditions are met as you intended. The log will show remarks if custom fields could not be updated. A screenshot of that log is needed for troubleshooting.

Great to hear it's solved Alejandra, any idea on the cause?

it was a custom field with a space between two words and just by deleting that space and making it one single word, it worked!!
