I just get an error :
"We couldn't create a space for you. Confluence might be down, or you might not have permission to create a space"
I'm testing this function in the free jira service management so I can then work with my atlassian admin on how to do this on our paid premium account.
in the free account, i am jira admin....so I don't think this is a "permissions" issue. and under "people and access" in my project i am an "Administrator". just trying to explore the KB functionality. I don't think I need to have full blown confluence based on the "Learn how Confluence powers your knowledge base" link when I goto the "Knowledge Base" section of my project.
As this is a free tier, you would first need to enable the Confluence product in your Cloud instance.
See, https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/free-confluence-for-jira-service-management-knowledge-base-annual-licenses-1167818836.html for setup.
this is helpful. I was able to get past the error message by following that guide. Appreciate the assistance!
Regards,
Jason
