You will loose the reference to issues, since the new Insight for JSM is using a new field type. You can fix that by creating an automation that runs through your issues and sets the new field to the same value as the old one. Something like this:
I ran it using a query in order to limit the number of issues for each run to less than 1000 issues. The web request is used to get the serial number from the old Insight.
