Hi @dv bhadram , thanks for your question and welcome to the community. 

I would suggest you to take a look at the Automation library to help you with this.

Jira automation template library | Atlassian

You should be able to identify the trigger and specify a condition of the ticket being resolved by the customer and then have an action to update a custom field.
