Request Participant dropdown showing non employee.

Tori Krueger September 14, 2021

Hello,

We recently upgraded our Jira instance and one of the things we noticed is an unfamiliar name in the 'Request Participants' dropdown when creating a ticket in the service desk.  Not sure how this name got there?  Also, how can we remove it from the list?

Thanks

Hello,

check "Customer Permissions" in "Project Settings".

Depens on your decided behaviour select one of the options.

If you have doubts I've recommend to set the option and check the "request participant" field.

Best regards.

Hello,

I did check the audit logs but did not find the name anywhere in the logs so it seemed strange...

@Tori Krueger

How are your permissions set up? Typically  customers are either added by the agents or sign themselves up. It's possible someone CC'd them on an email which added them as a user. If you want to see exactly when they were added you could check the audit log to see when they were created.
