Restrict to fill time more than original estimate

Hi All,

My team uses the clockwork free to log work for Jira and I want to restrict my team to fill logs that are more than the estimated time.

Is there a possibility within Jira? I have check the conditions and triggers during transition but haven't found anything useful

Why?

The original estimate field is for estimating what time you think there is needed to solve the issue.

Logging time is the exact time spent, based on the difference users will be able to see how they where off and how issues can be better estimated.

We can possible achieve this by 3rd party marketplace app for extra workflow options.

What if it takes more time to solve the issue, but a user can't write time as the original estimate will be passed, but the work has been done.

Then the time can't be written?
