I would like to create the following automation:
Trigger:
- when the status of the associated ticket (which is in a JIra Software) is changed to : "in progress"; "complete"
Then
- update the Jira Service ticket status with the same status.

Note that you can create automation with "issue transitioned" trigger in software project and please find below sample automation. Assuming you establish a link between software and service ticket. Additionally, you can further customize using additional conditions for specific issue types.
