There is a way to configure a Time custom field?

Hi! I've been tasked with creating two custom fields of the "Time" type to calculate a period of time, such as "Time Since" and "Time To."

The standard Date-Time custom field type isn't suitable because the calculation involves non-continuous periods. For example, an action starts on Monday at 9:00 AM, pauses from Monday at 10:00 PM to Tuesday at 9:00 AM, and finishes on Tuesday at 12:00 PM.

The team needs to calculate the total number of hours the action was active.

Is there a way to configure this natively without using add-ons?

Based on the tag indicating JSM, did you try using an SLA with default 24/7 calendar?

The field will be used in Jira Software too.
