Hello Everyone,

Does anyone here have any prior expertise with migrating the notifications of the JEMH Server/Data Center to JEMH Cloud as there are certain limitations with JEMH cloud.

Would specifically need some suggestions with the template sets or Macros for JEMH.

Any help or suggestions is much appreciated.

Regards,
Pavan

Hello Pavan,

There are some differences between Server/Data Center and Cloud when it comes to creating and modifying Template Sets which needs to be taken into consideration when configuring Templates within Cloud.

The two main differences are:

  1. JEMH Cloud only uses three Template types. Issue Created, Issue Updated and Issue Deleted. Note: Most of the Issue events triggered by Jira will use the Issue Updated Event. e.g. Issue Assigned and Issue Commented.
  2. To preview the Template you would need to create a preview context from a previously processed audit event as this will provide JEMHC with the relevant information that will allow the Template to be previewed within the Template Editor.

For more information about Templates and using Preview Contexts see:

Note: In both Server/DC and Cloud Templates use Velocity (VTL) to configure and render the template. Due to this it means that the configuration you have within Server/DC may be achievable within Cloud.

If you require any further information/help then feel free to create a Support ticket with PPL (JEMH Vendor). This can be done by either email "support@thepluginpeople.com" or by using the Customer Portal: https://thepluginpeople.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/group/1/create/5
