Unable to configure project notification scheme in next-gen project

Hi there,

I'm trying to configure a new notification scheme for my next-gen project in Jira service desk. I've managed to create the notification scheme but I can't find where I assign the scheme to a project.

I've used the notification helper and it says that the simplified notification scheme is used. Clicking on the scheme link takes me to the /settings/people UI.

I can get to the project notification settings for a classic project (just confirmed that) but there's no "Notifications" link in the next-gen project settings UI.

From what I hear you cannot configure notification scheme on Next-Gen projects but it should be there by default.
