Hello,
on some requests we need to change the issue to an approval issue so that internal users like CEO or CTO can approve an request.
What i read in the forum is that approvers are typically customers added to the project, but when i try it with internal users they wont get an e-mail.

Can you share a little bit more on how you setup your approvals?
That might help us identify why the internal approvers don't get an email.

Approvals are not meant for customer alone and can be used for internal users as well.
please follow the steps to configure approvers in workflow and let me know if you have any questions.

Approvers are Jira users, as the approval step requires a decision and a transition on a workflow.
