Bula (Hello)
Traditionally we had customers and agents set up separately.
Over the past year or so, we have noticed that a few customers have managed to create an additional Agent login but of course with no access through the agent portal. I believe they are having login issues and then during the login process they are creating an agent profile.
When we try and amend approvers list for these staff, we notice 2 logins, 1 with a blank avatar and a new 1 with their intials as it would appear for an agent.
How can we disable users joining in on our service desk project unless explicitly added by a Jira Administrator?
Note: Maintaining Customers is also getting quite confusing with multiple places to go to to do this.
This is an extract of what we get when someone joins our service desk themselves instead of been invited:

read this and noticed we have site access turned ON:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/specify-how-users-get-site-access-744721636.html
this was primarily turned ON to allow customers to be easily added to our main IT Service Desk project. It seems, this may need to be turned OFF and request access turned ON?
