Our company has started using Hubspot. I am wondering if it is possible to use the Hubspot > Jira integration app alongside a Jira custom field the display to JSM agents a client's RAG status?

You can use our HubSpot CRM Integration for Jira to present data from HubSpot directly on Jira work item. In app' configuration, you can define what HubSpot properties you want to display depending on HubSpot object.

Yes, that should be possible, but there are a few things to consider.
You may want to consider an Atlassian Solutions Partner, OpsHub Integration Manager (OIM) which can help you with this mapping and ensure that custom fields, including status indicators like RAG, sync consistently between HubSpot and Jira— without needing agents to manually update anything. All this without writing a single line of code :)
