Hi Team.

My user is set as administator on a project that we created in JSD, I attemented to set up an SLA Matrix when I Try to insert the Metric Name It just balnks out.

I noticed that there is a question mark (?) next to the Metric name.
If i hower over it it shows the message.

"you can only choose form suggested metric names.
if you want to create new ones, please contact your Jira administrator"

I Contacted my Jira administrator and he was unable to assist me as I have admin access on the project.

I am thinking that this is a GLobal setting but not sure which one thou can you please assist me on this, as I need to create a metric.

Hi @Maurits Brakhoven

New SLA names can only be created by Jira administrators unless configured otherwise. This means that you should be able to select one of the existing SLA names in the dropdown and assign your own rules for your project.

However, if you need a new SLA name, you should ask your Jira admin again and explicitly tell him that the names existing aren't suitable for you and that they need to create a new SLA name so that you can create the rule afterwards.

Kind regards

Jorden
