When I am Trying to configure SMTP Outgoing Mail. I got an Error. This is in JSM

This means that the machine you are running Jira on is not able to resolve  smtp.gmail.com as a valid server address.  The most likely problem is that its DNS client is not configured correctly.

Try logging into the server, and, on the command line, running nslookup smtp.gmail.com to get a bit more about the underlying error.

Hi @Linga Reddy, i found the same problem on my system.

i have done mutiple trubouleshoot checks and i found that my systems's internet connectivit has been lost. indly check the internet connectivity because smtp.gmail.com is only works with internet connectivity.
