I created a custom field called, "Assigned to Group" and later created an SLA called "Assigned to Group"
Unfortunately the SLA created a locked custom field called "Assigned to Group" and now some of my agents are confused about which field to select when they are building queries.
I deleted the SLA and re-created it with a new name, but the old locked field is still there. Is there any way to delete that?
I believe if you are using Jira cloud you can't do it.

After I removed the SLA metric associated with the custom SLA field, I was able to go into the Configuration of our Jira Service Desk cloud app and use the "Clean Up" button to remove the SLA-based custom field.
Now the field no longer appears in queries.
