how do i know issue is created through portal or restful api or phone or email ?

is there any way to know which field i am going to refer issue created in jira ?

Hello,

There is no such field. The channel contains only Protal, Jira and Email values. You can not add phone or rest api there.

You would need to make a different field and to fill it upon creating an issue. You would need a plugin to fill this field automatically like Power Scripts or ScriptRunner.

in jira documentation they gave like below

  • email: requests submitted via email
  • jira: requests created using JIRA
  • portal: requests created using a Service Desk portal
  • api: requests created using a REST API

is there any default value for this request-channel-type property ?

There is no default value. It will be always filled with a value. Anyway there is no phone.

i have created a web hook using JQL condtion but it's not  triggered.i amusing these condtion to trigger web hook request-channel-type=jira,how to i use request-channel type in JQL.

You can use like this:

request-channel-type = jira

Make sure that you defined the correct event for your web hook.

No, you can not generate an issue id or change the issue key. You can add a new field with your custom logic

You can refer channel (sys field) on the view screen of Jira.
