import csv assets with portal client attribute

Soukaina BOUKIR March 2, 2023

Hi,

My assets object has an attribute of type USER. It helps to link an asset with an user.

When I import a csv file with the ID of JIRA user, it works. Now I want to link an asset to portal client user, what value should I put in the csv file ?

Hi @Soukaina BOUKIR ,

Kris is correct, you need to use the customer ID to link in your import.

  1. Go to Atlassian Administration
  2. Click on Products
  3. Under Sites and Products in left bar click on your site
  4. Select Portal customers from left pane
  5. Click Export customers.

Filter your export to find the user you want and then you want to use the the QM:...... in your CSV import for assets. Use a || between QM's if you want to show multiple users.

Hi @Soukaina BOUKIR ,

Have you tried using the ID of the customer user?

You can export a list of customers and their id's via this link:

Best regards,

Kris
