We just started learning Atlassian Jira Service Desk
Need your help!
We use the Jira Service Desk to receive applications and Jira to conduct internal projects.
Sometimes, the one who makes the application (of the applicant) needs to mark the application in the Jira Service Desk in order to show that the application relates to the project in jira.
Can we implement this through the drop-down list?
Is this possible - without additional plugins?
Alternatively you can do like this -
From Jira Service desk issue create a linked issue in Jira software project. Note that when you create a linked issue, most information is copied from Jira Service desk issue to JIRA Software Issue.
I want to solve this at the level of the user who makes the request. To do this, select a project from the list and" attach " your task to it.

We are also looking for the same, Linking Jira service desk (ticket) to Jira software (as a defect)... Kindly revert as earliest as possible and your response will be most value-added for us.
Will this be automatically happen based on any configuration/setting or we need to push manually? How does this work?
