Hello Team
Can you assist with an issue I'm having where I've granted a new user access to our Jira, bitbucket, and Confluence platforms? The invitation emails are not being received by these users. I see from community pages about it that it appears to do with the emails getting blocked. Can someone assist with this as I've tried to send the request multiple times?
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Anand Mohan Tripathy , welcome to the Community!
I see that you also opened a support case for this issue and our support team was able to clear it up for this user yesterday. Based on the specific error our system received and the details you mentioned here, I'd just like to mention it's likely this occurred because the invitation was sent from Atlassian Cloud before the mailbox was ready to receive mail. We frequently see this happen with G-Suite powered domains (Google/Gmail provides the mail interface) - even if the mailbox is created a couple minutes before the Atlassian invitation is sent, the invitation could still bounce back. I generally recommend ensuring the mailbox was created at least two hours before sending the invitation, in order to ensure Google's mail servers have propagated the new mailbox and can successfully deliver messages to it.
Cheers,
Daniel | Atlassian Support
Hello, I am having the same issue. I am certain the gmail accounts were created years ago, but it is still not working.
EDIT: Oops, wrong forum. I am using Confluence not Jira

I had the same problem, turned out that it was falling into a SPAM folder.

Hello, I have the same problem on confluence, jira and bitbucket. The invitation emails to our domain are not send. How to unblock a domain?

The mailbox is active and receives email from others. I also pressed several times "resend".
