Related Tickets in Help Center

Hello,

Is there a way to display related tickets in the Help Center?

In my case, a customer creates a ticket, and we later determine that it is related to another bug within their project. We then link the two tickets. However, the related ticket was created by a different user, meaning the original customer cannot see it due to general configuration settings.

Is it possible to adjust the configuration so that the customer can view and open the linked ticket?

kind regards

Hi and welcome,

build in is no possibility to archive this.

There is no function for that.

Second point is that there a some restrictions about permission. In default a customer can only see own tickets . So the tickets have to be shared with the organizations.

my Bad . There are some apps in the marcetplace that provide the function.

Hi @Michael Ruhdorfer ,

You can have a look at our app: Advanced Portal Reports.

It will allow you to show Linked issues (or any other standard or custom Jira field) on the Customer view in the portal.

It also provides your portal customers with a table report where they can see, search, filter and export all their requests, including many additional details (incl. Linked issues, SLAs, custom fields, etc.).

However, in order for the customers to be able to open and view the linked issue, they will need to be a request participant.

Greetings,

Elitsa
