Remove users in a custom field from a group "jira-software"

Hi,

I have users in a multi user pircker which is an array list. I want to remove them from group "jira-software" . How to achieve same? I don't want to pre define the list of users as user keeps on increasing?

User management is done by a site-admin via the respected User Management selection from the cog menu.  There is no way to remove a user from a group, by simply removing them from a custom field. Users must be added/removed from User Management.
