Rename the first tab in the ticket screen

When we create tabs in the ticket screen,the first tab always takes the name "General" - even if we edit the name inthe screen configuration,it always says general in the ticket .

Is there anyway to chnage the name of the first tab in the ticket? please assist

Hello @Jay Rajaram,

Thank you for reaching out to the Atlassian Community!

When it comes to renaming tabs, even though we go to Project settings > Screens and rename the first tab, the changes won't be applied and it will always show as General.

This issue is a known bug and there is also a suggestion regarding this:

Please, click on This affects my team/Vote and also watch both tickets, so that you are notified when the issue is fixed.

Hi Guys! We've just found amazing workaround: Create a tab called General before your first original tab and leave it empty.

Then go to the issue and you'll see your original tab as first! But in this case all the fields will be in Description area, not in context.
