Reply to customer doesn't send email in Cloned issue

Customer create a request via Portal into Project1 and then we Clone this issue with 

Automation for Jira to Project2. We copy all fields including customers email and Reporter, but Reporter didn't get answers send from Project2 with 'Reply to customer' option.

I have the same issue.
We like to move some request to the correct project by automation. 
Automation do not offer "move", but clone is used to achieve this.

In the cloned issue the reply to customer does not work. 
It works in other request (not cloned) in the same project. 

I'll looking forward for a solution to this need.

Hi @Tina - Are you also making sure the Request Type is getting populated on the target as well?  Request types are unique between projects so they do not get cloned automatically.
