scenario:
Outgoing mail with authentication (Microsoft Exchange 365)-> general@jira.com
JSD project with their customer mail set > project@jira.com
a) JSD project notification mail is set >project@jira.com
When an issue is updated for eg, a notification mail should be sent.
Mail is not sent as there's no outgoing authentication for that address (only general@jira.com is authenticated)
b) JSD project notification mail is left as default (general@jira.com)
The customer want to add a comment so he replies to that email
That reply is not processed since there's no incoming handler for that address
Am I missing something, or does authentication makes it impossible to comment issues with email replies?
Some projects works based on customer mails so this make it unusable
