Retiring devices from assets

Do you have any ideas on how to export the assets to a list and then edit the list?

Back then, we used Sharepoint and imported the data into an Excel list and then imported it into Teams so that we could edit it there, for example, we could then say in Teams that we would deliver the device on a certain date. Now we have saved all the assets in Jira, but we can't find a way to filter them or say that the device should be replaced.

Maybe we don't need an export at all, maybe we can create a list in Jira itself and then we can edit this list and say when we will replace the device and who will take care of it. Unfortunately, you can't save filters for the assets.

Hi @Antonia

You can export filtered asset lists as CSV files directly from the Assets UI. This feature allows you to easily edit asset information in Excel or Teams. Please note that this functionality requires a Premium or Enterprise subscription

You can edit assets directly in Jira Assets, adding custom attributes such as replacement date, status, and owner. Besides, you can filter assets in the UI to quickly find what you need. However, please note that there is currently a limitation in saving filters persistently

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
