i did setup an email from our domain, but it can't create the ticket, and this is the error:
Found 1 unprocessed message(s) in the imaps folder.
Cannot create issue due to invalid license: [Sorry, you can't create any issues right now, as you need to have access to a Jira application to be able to create issues. To gain application access you need to be a member of a group assigned to an application.]
I have a free plan, could someone clarify this to me?

From the error, it says the user who will drop an email will need the license count. But in Jira service management, you can setup email requests in the project settings.
For JSM, please go to your service project settings --> Email Requests and then setup the email for ticket creation.
Also in the project settings --> customer permissions, make the appropriate selection on who can create ticket by writing an email in the project.
