Hi,
I am getting the 'You've reached your monthly rule execution limit. Upgrade your plan to increase your limit.' error however I do not currently have any global rule enabled.
Does this limit also apply to automations within each project?
Thanks
Mel
Hi @Melissa Cross , thanks for your question. The monthly rule execution limit applies to Global rules and rules with more than one project in their scope.
If you could check with the Global Automation the scope for the active rules in your instance, you should be able to identify any rules that are like this. The simple solution is just to copy and have multiple instances of the same rule applied in one project only.
I hope this helps but if not, please give us your feedback and either I or someone else will try to help you.
Cheers
Hi @Valerie Knapp ,
We don't currently have any Global rules enabled. Would I need to manually check every rule across all projects to check the scope?
Thanks
Mel

Hi @Melissa Cross , you should be able to access more information about what is going on and what is being counted here under System settings, Global Automation and Usage -

Hi Melissa,
The limit also applies to rules used by multiple projects in the rule. So you can't just click on the Global rules menu option to determine that. You need to go through the full list of your rules to see how many use multiple projects.

Hi @John Funk
Thank you for your response. Can you please explain a little more? I need to get this resolved asap :)
In what way would a rule use multiple projects if it only created within 1 project?
Thanks
Mel

Just go to Settings > System > Global Automation. That should give you a list of rules for the entire instance. Then just scroll down the page looking for any rules that have more than one project listed for it under the Projects column heading. You probably have multiple pages, you will have to go through every page making note of the multi-project rules.

Hi John,
I don't appear to have any rules that have more than one project listed. All of our automations are specific to each project.
Is there any other reason I would be getting the error?
Thanks
Mel

Hi @Melissa Cross ,
If the automation rules is setup only on a single project, then there is no limitation for all the subscription tiers. The execution usage in this case for single project will not count against the overall limits on Global or multi-projects rules.
Here is the limitations
