Run a unix script when jira is created!

Hi,

Can anyone help me in creating a groovy script for the following case?

We need to run the UNIX script automatically when the Jira issue is created.  Is it possible with the script runner post function? And we are on the cloud version of Jira.

Hi @Naresh Gantala ,

In general you can't run a local UNIX script from Jira cloud.

What you could do is to "watch" Jira from your UNIX host, and when an issue is created you could run a script.
