Search Jira Service Desk not Software tickets

So I have have multiple projects in Jira Software and multiple Service Desks, they are all categorised and in some categories there is a mix of both Software and SD.

Is there a way I can search on a category but restrict it to just SD projects? (Or visa versa)

Are the issues of your JSD projects with the field Customer Request Type filled? You can query for this fiels or by any other which may be common.

That worked - I searched by Type (Incident/Problem/Change) as they are not in Jira Software.

Hi @Matthew Singleton,

If you have project categories, you can search with "category = abc" query.

You can't query the project type (software / service desk etc) directly. There is an open issue JRASERVER-45847.
