Search "View all results" only list 3 tickets

We are newly migrated to the cloud and that process went smooth overall. But now when we do a search, we see a long list of tickets in the preview, but when we click "View all results", only 3 tickets are listed...even through we could see 20+ in the search preview dropdown. Why would that be?

Hi @Darren Zuiderweg and welcome to the community!

Can you specify where you are searching? Are you using the issue search or the "general" search bar (See below)

The search bar does a JQL search that looks like this: text ~ "searchstring*". The "text" parameter searches fields like summary, description and comments.

Are you expecting more than 3 results? How does the JQL look when you see these 3 results? Are there any more clauses?

 

It might just be an indexing problem if you're newly migrated. The Atlassian Support can trigger a Reindex.
