is it possible to attach the email to an already created JIRA ticket automatically? I would usually send an email and then do the "Send to Issue" which is an extra step. Right when I am composing email, is there a unique email id or ticket link I can add in the email CC so the email automatically attaches to the ticket, instead of me sending it to the ticket afterwards?
Yes, just add your Issue Key anywhere in the Subject and it will add as comment to the ticket rather than logging a new ticket.
I.e.
ABC-1234 Issue with Printer or Re: Issue with Printer ABC-1234
