Sequential Approvals in Jira Service Management

I'm attempting to add sequential approvers in a Jira Service Management instance. I have created my individual user pickers and enabled the approval option within the workflow. My good friend, ChatGPT tells me there should be an option to select "Stay in this status" once the first approver approves - but I don't see that option in the original or new editor. What am I missing?

I don't think there is any such feature out of the box.

You can refer this answer as a workaround, involves multiple status and fields

Hi @Chelsea Lydon,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

If you change the "Number of approvers" to Everyone the request will stay in the approval status until everyone has approved. The other option is to use multiple statuses as @Akhand Pratap Singh referred to.
