Recently, one of our software vendors moved their Jira Service Desk to the Cloud version, and invited all their users to this.
Unlike most of their users, I have an existing Atlassian account registered with the same email address - but currently these two are not the same, so I have to maintain two passwords: one for this specific server desk, and one for all my other collaboration projects (using Confluence and Jira).
Should the invite to join the service desk not have discovered my existing profile and addedd access to that?
Hi Angelica, thank you for the reply.
While I am a site admin for our company site, I am not for our vendor’s site - but I will forward your reply and hopefully it will work.

Hi Ådne,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Last year there were some changes on Cloud which allowed us to use the same email for an internal and a customer account.
With that said, when it happens we can merge these accounts. I see that you are a site-admin, so you can go to Administration > Jira Service Desk and next to your email, click on … > Migrate to Atlassian account.
Please, give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Angélica
