Servicedesk Customer Portal Request reordering of columns not saving

Hi guys!

I have reordered by Columns in my Requests  (both in My Requests and All) and when I save the columns reflect correctly but when i refresh it changes back to its original state.

Steps:

I clicked on the 3 dots and then moved Requester to the back and clicked on Done.

See below for an indication where I have followed this steps. Please help!

I see the same thing. I wouldn’t think that would be by design. You might wish to report to Atlassian Support

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

I was able to replicate the same issue on my test site using different browsers.

A bug was created reporting this issue, but it was closed since it’s expected behavior for now. 

According to our developers, the column orders are not saved in the database. Anyone (customers, admins, agents) have permission to manage the columns and change the order, but once the page is refreshed, it will return to the original configuration.

Since it’s not a bug, a feature request was created suggesting this ability:
