Hi,
We are in a process to on-board 17k-18k internal customers to access helpdesk URL to access and start raising requests.
But its giving all users to sign-up which we don't want.
We want users to be authenticated through AD, so that tomorrow if they leave organization, they won't be able to access the site and can ensure confidential information does not gets leaked out.
Can Atlassian Access help here? because our implementation partner is pretty confused and we are unable to get any resolution on this.
If Atlassian Access can't help, what is the alternative basis which we can get AD setup done.
Hi @Mayur Gaikwad_Tech PMO , yes, Atlassian Access is required for authentication via an identity provider, possibly added with SSO and/or MFA.
You can find more information on Atlassian Access here: Understand Atlassian Access
But, is it applicable for Helpdesk as well because what we found out is that Atlassian Access is useful when implementing AD authentication for users logging through JSM platform. For someone using helpdesk option, it cannot be used.
