We use jira service projects, we also use Atlassian Access to provision 'customers' (employees) to be able to open service requests.
We added an organization of our domain so that users can see their requests in the customer portal and search other requests.
Recently the field of share with (no one, organization) became visible and notifying everyone in the organization.
How can we disable this or remove the notification. I went to Project > Customer notifications and disabled all. I also created a new notification scheme and only have the assignee and reporter notified, (not ideal for 'shared with participants', but doing that now as a stop gap)
This is happening precisely because you created an Organization in your service project with all the users in your environment.
To remove this completely, you need to delete the Organization by going to:
- Access your service project > On the left side menu click on 'Customers' > You will see the Organization > Delete it.
This way nobody else will have the 'Shared with' field because they will no longer participate in the Organization.
If you really want to keep Organization, then what else can you do you've already done: Disable Customer Notifications.

Fernando
