We have an JSM instance in which our costumers create requests and view them through the portal.
We need to create a dashboard and make it available to our costumers to view it
I turned on the global configuration 'public sharing' and created a dashboard with the viewers configuration as "Public" and it says that anyone on the web would be able to see it, no sign-in required.
However, when a costumer tries to access the dashboard they are redirected to the portal.
Am I missing any configuration?
thank you!
That's a common problem when trying to share Jira dashboards. In theory, you should make public not only the dashboard, but also the filters you're using.
If you're up for a commercial solution, we provide Dashboard Hub for Jira. This app allows you to easily share with a couple of clicks, any dashboard you create, in a secure way. You can see a live example for Jira Service Management here (or for agile teams here).
Hope this helps!
