Shorten retention period for table AO_2C4E5C_MAILITEMCHUNK

As you suggest in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-4340

we need apply Workarround 2 - "The retention period can be set via a direct database update"

Our customer is using JiraSD for storing daily agents visits and every issue has attached 1-4 pictures from this visit.  Even we have set retention period to 14 days (minimum available via JIRA GUI)  is this table huge and makes backup and other problem for customer.

Please send us info, where in Jira database we can set less as 14 days for retencion of incomming emails. All this emails are backed in second email store so they dont need it in JIRA SD database.

Many thanks

@Julius Zatroch

I the link you reference above it suggest reaching out to support.  That can be done here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ you will need an active license to submit and issue.  They will be able to give you a SQL command that you will run on the DB to set retention.  You will need to do this again when you update the software.

You might also consider excluding the table from your backup.
