Showing the assignee of a Software Project in Service Desk Queue Table

On a Service Desk issue, the only information related to the Software Project issue is via the Issue Links. So if I need to find information on what developer is assigned etc, then I need to click into this Issue.

The way we use Service Desk (SD) internally, is for our client service team to request work to our Development team via the SD, then we create a JIRA Software Project issue and link it to the SD issue. So showing who's assigned to the SD issue will only be the Digital Project Manager, not the developer, since developers don't have access to SD, all SD issues will be assigned to either the DPM or the reporter.

What would be awesome is if I could see information from the Software Project issue within the Service Desk area, such as an Assignee column within the Queues tables, so I can quickly see which developer is assigned to this Software Issue without having to go back and forth from Service Desk and the Software Project.

Is there a native option I can turn on to do this? Or is it in the form of a plugin?

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Here is an idea to explore using an addon like Automation for Jira...

create a custom field in JSD project and when the Assignee is updated in the JSW linked issue then copy the user to the custom field.
