Did you mean:

'Single user' didn't show any users for some users.

I often use Helpdesk

And I set 'Single User' type field for some request.

When I tried to use it, the field shows the list of Jira users.

But some people can't see any people when they input any employee's name on the field.

I think there's some permission problem on Single User type field but I don't know.

Could you help me?

Hi!

By coincidence I was looking this up yesterday.

The users in the field that are visible to other users depend on the sharing settings of your JSM project. Sometimes they can only see users in the same organization.

Here is a similar post with the answer.

And the official Atlassian documentation.

for me, the project setting is like below

Screenshot 2023-08-30 at 18.44.57.png

I understand, this setting makes all customers be able to search for other customers in the organizations

Even though the setting is like above, some people still can't search for other customers. moreover, they can't find themselves.

Please help me

Do you use the organizations in your project? Because that setting means users can only view users in the same organization.

I'm not sure why the "Any customer or organization" option is not available to you.

nope. I don't use the organizations for this project and not sure why there isn't Any customer options here..

As an administrator of the jira helpdesk, I was looking for all the menu related to customer permissions, but failing to find the reason..
