I have created a script mail handler to create tickets on JIRA
The problem we have is as follow:
>Every ticket that is being created is in the channel "JIRA".
Our requirement:
>We need the channel to be "EMAIL"
Is there a solution to that?

Hi Jason,
For your information, this field is restricted and internally controlled by Jira.
You cannot do the changes unless you create a custom field to set the value automatically, as informed in this documentation.
