Trying to Get Connectivity Between Two Different Widgets

Hello,

For a brief description of what I am trying to do:

I have the Google Maps for Jira app installed. We need this to help set routes for our Field Technician team so they can plan out the week better. 

My CEO is inquiring if it would be possible to have the ability to say filter down the options onto the map. So, if I was to select a ticket on one widget, it would show that ticket on the map.

I'm leaning towards this not being possible, but I wanted to see if anyone here has had any luck trying to do something like this before?
